Your Account
Where your name, face and email live, who can see what, and how to leave.

Managing your RNGESUS account is fairly straightforward. There are two places, and the split is simple: Your Room is what other people can see — your face, your gear, what you have done. Account is the paperwork.
Making one
You can sign up with an email address or with an account you already have — Google, Apple, and so on. Either works. Pick whatever's easiest to remember.
One account covers the app and the web. Log in on your phone, your computer, your tablet, your smart fridge — wherever you want to check your roll stats.
Your name, face and email
Your handle lives on the Account page, along with your name and email. It's how friends find you when they search, and that's its whole job: it is never shown in the tavern or at a table. Keep it appropriate anyway — your friends can see it, and your edgy username from 2007 might not age as well as you think.
The name people in the room see is your character's, and it's set in the tavern rather than here. The first time you walk in you sign the house rules with it — or walk in as a stranger and name them later in the looking glass in Your Room. There's room for one of each class, for now (a head count, not a rule: they needn't be different classes), and each one is a name, a place they hail from and a set of clothes. The Tavern has the rest.
Your photograph is on the Account page too. Your friends see it on their friends list and on your page; nobody sees it in the tavern, where you're drawn as your character — your arms on a shield, or the coloured disc until you've cut some. Upload from your device — JPG, PNG, and HEIC from iPhones all work. It gets cropped to a circle, so centre the important bits.
Your email is on the Account page. Make sure you can actually receive mail at the new address before you switch, because you'll need it if you ever forget your password.
Who can see what
By default your profile is visible to friends you've added. Roll history and statistics are private unless you choose to share them. We're not in the business of exposing your embarrassing nat 1 streaks to the world.
Not by default, anyway.
What we collect: account info, your dice collection, your roll history, and usage data to help improve the app. We don't sell your data — we wouldn't even know how, and frankly, "list of dice enthusiasts" isn't exactly hot commodity data. The privacy policy is the long version.
Security
Changing your password. If you signed up with an email address you can change it in your account settings. Use something strong — not "password123", not your pet's name. We won't judge, but hackers will.
Two-factor is supported through our login provider. It's an extra step, but it keeps your precious roll history safe from the bad guys.
If you think someone got in: change your password immediately, then look over your profile and settings for anything odd. If you see activity that isn't yours, get in touch and we'll help secure the account.
Friends, blocking and reports
Adding friends: search by handle and send a request, or tap their die if you're in the same room. Once they accept you can see each other's activity and compare stats. Finally, empirical proof that your friend's dice really are luckier.
Blocking: if someone's bothering you, block them from your profile settings. They can't contact you or see your activity. We keep things chill.
Reporting: if someone's being genuinely problematic, report them. We take reports seriously and review them promptly.
Leaving
You can ask for your account and everything attached to it to be deleted — contact us through the contact page and we'll process it. This is permanent and irreversible: your dice collection, your roll history and your profile all go, and they don't come back. Make sure it's really what you want.
We'll be sad to see you go, but we respect your choice. May your future rolls (with other dice) be ever in your favor.
